Connie Bowman is a local actress, author and yoga teacher and also the host of Happy Healthy You!, a popular podcast about living a whole life in mind, body and spirit. Her yoga classes reflect her belief that we can all live lives of happiness, health and peace when we use tools like yoga and meditation to bring the body, mind and spirit into balance. Robyn Maggio believes that yoga is a journey that manifests in different ways for each person. She loves helping people figure out what yoga means to them. Her journey began with attending classes on and off as a way to relieve stresses and tension from a typical 9-5 job. Two years later, a move to a new state, with the opening of a yoga studio around the corner from where she lived, it was her time to find a consistent practice. Since then she’s completed her 300 hour yoga teacher training. Within classes, her goal is to meet people where they are and help them develop, grow, and transform within their lives.


Yoga Studio

Sojourner Williams is a Yoga teacher, Reiki Master and Ayurvedic practitioner. Her approach to wellness, yoga and Reiki is deeply devotional, joyful and transformative. With a practice rooted in Ayurveda, Sojourner draws from a variety of traditions including Reiki to create enriching and transformative experiences for her clients. Sojourner has practiced yoga for over ten years and became certified to teach at Laughing Lotus in New York City in 2008. As a yoga teacher, Sojourner creates a beautiful holistic journey infusing meditation, music, breath work and mantra with a slow and intentional flow. Stress, anxiety and tension relief are her areas of interest.

Leah Shepherd is a RYT200 yoga instructor. Her approach emphasizes relaxation and mindfulness to achieve flexibility, freedom and peace in body and mind. Her goal is to help you leave the room feeling at peace and more connected to your body and emotions. Classes are suitable for any skill level. Beginners and experienced yogis are welcome!

Valerie Taylor is a certified Hatha yoga instructor and specializes in the gentle side of Hatha yoga. Hatha yoga enhances your body's capacity through a series of body postures and movements (asanas) designed to align your skin, muscles and bones. The body postures are also done to open many channels in the body, especially the spine, so energy can freely flow. Hatha yoga also includes breathing techniques that focus on the conscious prolongation of inhalation, breath retention and exhalation.

Eboni Adams Monk is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) certified by Gogo Guru Yoga in Ellicott City. She has over 25 years of experience in holistic living, is a Kundalini Reiki Master and has studied the art of Sound Healing. In addition to yoga asanas, Eboni's classes include an uplifting mix of meditation, pranayama (breath) and sound energetics to cultivate strength in the body, focus in the mind and a long-lasting heart-centered experience. She is a proponent of utilizing yoga for its relaxation and restorative benefits and as a tool for deep self-discovery. Her desire is for others to embrace their natural gifts and live transformative lives.
